What is Final Fantasy?

Final Fantasy is a console game, that started on the Nintendo Entertainment System (more popularly known as NES). The first game was suppose to be only one game, not a series. But due to extreme popularity it expanded into a huge game series (currently at Final Fantasy 13 and more comming out in the in the near future). Most of the Final Fantasy games are a RPG (Role-playing game) genre, though there has been other genres created, such as action. The game was developed by a game company called, Squaresoft. (currently changed and now known as, Square Enix). The developers were,

and Yoshinori Kitase.

Why Final Fantasy 7?

Final Fantasy 7 came out for the Playstation console, and was the most popular game ever sold in the series. It sold over 9.8 million copies worldwide, and was the second most bought game for the Playstation (and one of my personal favorites as well). The music that was composed in this game was one of the very few games that had an orchestra, rather then 8 bit "boops" and "beeps".
